Domestic Emily Mishap #329

There’s a wasp in my fridge. Don’t ask me how it got there but if I had to guess I would say it’s because I am me and if you’ve been paying attention at all you know that this is pretty much par for the course in Emilyville (population: me).

Anyway, I think it’s dead. It’s not moving at least. But don’t wasps go into some sort of suspended animation state during cold weather? And they aren’t really dead, they’re just… kind of asleep until the warm weather comes back?

I’m afraid to touch it. What if it is in fact still alive and my cold fridge is making it think it’s winter? But when I touch it, it wakes up all mad and stings me?

But on the other hand, indefinitely keeping a potentially dead wasp in the fridge right behind the almond milk isn’t exactly an appealing option either.

What do I doooooooo?
