Today is a good day because this dress is now mine 😍
I saw it at a local store a couple months back, but finances were pretty tight at the time so I couldn’t get it. But business is going really well for me again, and today I happened to be in the same area as that store, so I thought, “You know what? I’ve been working really hard and I think I deserve something nice, so why not stop in and see if it’s still there?”
It’s such a cute dress, so I was not too hopeful it would still be there, but I live by the philosophy of what’s yours is yours, and if it’s meant to be the door will be open to you.
As I looked through the clothing section I realized they had rearranged everything and put a bunch of new clothing out for the season, so that got me a little bit down temporarily… but then I found it hidden in a rack with a bunch of other different dresses that weren’t there before.
It was the only one like it left, and still in my size and everything. Plus, it was marked down to $10, score!
And, if that wasn’t fabulous enough, just as I found it, Uptown Funk came on so I was dancing down the aisles to Bruno Mars as I went up to the register to pay.
I feel like luck and favor are finally on my side again after a long time of struggle, and I can’t wait to wear this dress this summer 😁
