I will confess that whenever I get a notification that there’s a message from a buyer regarding a purchase my heart always sinks, because I’m worried it means that the buyer isn’t happy with something.
But today I got this really sweet message from a happy buyer and it made me feel great.
I know people sometimes look down at people like me who flip because they think it’s immoral or unethical somehow… but I’m still proud of what I do, and I work really hard at it. I love selling toys, they are one of my life’s passions, and I spend hours every week researching and taking/editing photos, plus thoroughly describing and cleaning and testing everything I sell. I don’t use AI descriptions or any other shortcuts like scanning things with Google Lens either, just the running toy and pop culture catalog in my head and my own knowledge built up over the years.
It’s not easy for me to find a job due to not being able to hear. But I *can* still work, and I’ve worked hard creating a successful small business for myself, with top ratings and thousands of positive feedbacks built up over the years.
I may be just a lowly toy seller but I’m a darn good one 😁👍
