I have held off on refilling my napkin holder for an embarrassingly long time, because I thought I put the extra napkins up in one of the kitchen cupboards on the top shelf… and since I’m such a shorty that means I have to drag out the @%$@# stepstool and climb on it and I know it’s not a big deal but it’s still a pain in the butt and sometimes I just don’t want to deal with all of that, you know?
…and at long last I finally have the motivation to fill the napkin holder today, so I get on the stool and I’m searching through the top shelves in the cupboards and nopety nope. No napkins anywhere! I thought I was going nuts, because I know I had a whole bunch left, until… I decided to check underneath the sink, which is my other catch-all area for random things that I don’t know what else to do with.
Sure enough, there they were underneath the sink the whole time. I didn’t even need to use the stool at all. I wasted all of this time not daring to use those few remaining napkins in my napkin holder over nothing.
And the moral of the story, kids, is don’t be like me. No, seriously 😛
